Napaj is a very small kennel, but unique. We breed for quality, soundness and temperament.
Having had bred and exhibited numerous dogs and bitches to there Championships, I started showing a Samoyed in 1972 with Snowchief Cora Haze which was her first attempt in the ring. With the help of all the people from the Samoyed club, she won Best Graduate In Parade.
In those days everyone helped everyone, not like today.
In 1973 I brought my first Keeshond. I have bred and shown this breed till 2011, but due to ill health, it ended my relationship with this delightful breed.
I have also exhibited and bred The Shih-Tzu,from 1976-2005. Including my home bred boy "Grand Champion Aakkee Canadian Warlord", my first male Shih_Tzu, I gained this title in Queensland, with the help of Monica Moore.
I have bred and exhibited many other breeds over the years, always doing very well.
I brought my first Japanese Spitz in 1989,which didn't turn out to be a show dog. Then, in 1991, I imported 2 others from New Zealand, "Aust.Ch. Gildenwyn Yokukai" and his sister "Gildenwyn Shiroi Zayo". These began as my foundation dog and bitch.
Later in the year I brought a lovely well-put-together bitch from Mary Milledge, Aust.Ch.Millary. My Napaj, who was titled by 8 mths old, also won numerous Runner-Up in groups and In Show awards.
In 1992, I imported another bitch from New Zealand, "Ch.Gildenwyn Onna No Ko". From the breeding of these 4 Japanese Spitz, I have bred many more champions.
